The board features memorable cinematic properties like the Comet Observatory and Fossil Falls. Adding a unique twist to traversal, standard Railroad spaces have been replaced by Launch Stars, which dynamically send players flying across the board.The gameplay mechanics have also been tweaked to fit the galaxy-hopping narrative. When a player lands on or passes GO, they collect a Luma chip, which is worth valuable coins. However, players will also need to watch their backs for the wandering Bowser Jr. token—if he lands on a player's spot, they are instantly forced into battle.To navigate the cosmos, players can choose from six colorful, custom-sculpted plastic Monopoly tokens. The character-inspired pieces include Mario's hat, Luigi's hat, Princess Peach's umbrella, Toad's headlamp, a Yoshi egg, and an adorable Luma.Monopoly: The Super Mario Galaxy Movie Edition is now officially available to purchase at global retailers, including Amazon.
