Popular content creator Peller has revealed why he turned down an offer from DSTV to stream his upcoming wedding, insisting that he would rather broadcast the event himself.

Speaking during a live session, he disclosed that the television company reached out with an offer to livestream his wedding, but he declined because he considers himself a streamer with a large audience of his own.

“DSTV reached out to me that they want to stream our wedding, but guess what? DSTV, we love you, but I am a streamer. I’m big enough to stream it. Na my wedding, let me do it.

Me and my wife will stream our thing that day. We’ll be streaming on Twitch, YouTube and TikTok. That TikTok, I go dey do live, so dey dey send lion me back to back,” he said.

Peller explained that he wants fans to experience the wedding directly through his own platforms, where he and his wife will personally handle the livestream.

His revelation comes ahead of his wedding ceremony scheduled to hold on August 1. The couple recently held a private traditional wedding in Edo State, where Peller officially paid the bride price of fellow TikToker, Jarvis.

His statement has since generated reactions online, with many praising his confidence in his brand, while others joked that viewers should be ready to flood his TikTok livestream with gifts throughout the ceremony.
