Starbucks Is Reinventing Coffee Culture In Collaboration With Sarah Andelman

There are few places that have turned the act of drinking coffee into a popular pastime like Milan has. With its own specialty brews and sleek cafés as well as a stylish community to match, it's no wonder that the city is now the backdrop of Starbucks’ new hub, The House of Coffee. The cultural initiative, curated in partnership with the mind behind the iconic Parisian concept store colette and Just An Idea consultancy agency Sarah Andelman, is set to serve as an outlet for artistic expression, drawing on Milan’s intrinsic café culture for inspiration. Through a series of projects with brands, designers, and artists, Andelman channels her history of producing culture-defining collaborations to deliver must-have garments and lifestyle products. Setting the tone for what's to come, the first drop introduces three collaborations by artist Lucas Zanotto with Italian brands Nordica, K-Way and Poldo Dog Couture. As seen in the new Hypebeast-produced campaign, rising musician Gene Gallagher debuts the limited-edition K-Way jacket featuring Zanotto’s playful Starbucks cup illustrations, which go hand-in-hand with the new Nordica skis. Topping off the Milanese-infused lookbook, the starring pup is kitted out in the Poldo Dog Couture puffer washed in the brand’s signature green tone. After unveiling the collaborations at Milan Men’s Fashion Week in January, the aforementioned pieces will make their way to the Starbucks Reserve Roastery on Piazza Cordusio. Here, fans can get a taste for Zanotto’s artistic style through a unique exhibition that showcases the partnership as well as exclusive artworks. Several homeware products and trinkets designed by the artist will also be stocked, including coffee cups, a deck of cards and a notebook.Stay tuned to Hypebeast to find out more about The House of Coffee from Starbucks. The new Starbucks x Lucas Zanotto collaboration is available to shop from Jan 16 online and at select Starbucks Reserve Roastery locations.Read more at Hypebeast
