Make sure to pack an extra travel bag! ‘The Four Seasons’ has officially been renewed for a third season on Netflix. The streamer’s head of scripted series, Jinny Howe, recently made the announcement at the Banff World Media Festival in conversation with Variety’s Michael Schneider.

This news comes on the heels of the May 28 premiere of Season 2, which picks up in the aftermath of Nick’s (Steve Carell) sudden death. The sophomore season follows his girlfriend, Ginny (Erika Henningsen), as she reveals to Kate (Tina Fey), Jack (Will Forte), Anne (Kerri Kenney-Silver), Danny (Colman Domingo), and Claude (Marco Calvani) that she’s pregnant with his child—launching the friends into vacation travel with a baby on board.

Co-created by Tina Fey, Lang Fisher, and Tracey Wigfield, the comedy series is adapted from Alan Alda’s 1981 film of the same name. It originally debuted in May 2025, centering on a group of couples who take four trips together each year.

Reflecting on the renewal, Netflix’s vice president of U.S. comedy added: “It’s been a joy watching the chaotic, beautiful journey of these lifelong friends…Audiences have fallen in love with these characters and this legendary cast’s electric chemistry. We’re thrilled to keep the vacation going for Season 3.”

There is no word yet on when Season 3 will premiere, but fans can follow Netflix’s Tudum for more updates.
