ESSX is stocking the space with the same recognizable mix of heavy hitters that the NYC location is known for: Acne Studios, Our Legacy, Enfants Riches Déprimés, Maison Margiela, Willy Chavarria and Satoshi Nakamoto to name a few. Couple those names with the addition of exclusive product, and the pop-up is less like a temporary outpost and more like a second flagship location in a more picturesque setting.Beyond the rack, ESSX is keeping its formula intact: rotating activations and community programming throughout the season brings the kind of cultural connective tissue that separates it from other high-end Hamptons retail. "This project is about extending the Lower East Side beyond New York, bringing the energy and community we've built at ESSX to a new audience in a way that still feels authentic to us," said CMO Jacob Metzger.The summer opening is no doubt a flex, and it's also a chance to test the retailer's downtown sensibility against the slower pace and luxury expectations of the Hamptons and offer an affluent crowd something more cutting edge. The ESSX is now open at 53 The Circle and stays open through October 2026.
