Dry scalp and I go together real bad. But, that’s not something I like to brag about. In winter, I can forget about the snowstorm outside because I’ve always got one on my flake-ridden scalp. That was, until I started using Highbrow Hippie’s Instant Silk Vitality Hair Mask. Now, a week into spring, the flakes that used to fall from my scalp like snow are as clear as a spring breeze.

At first, I was shampooing once a week and giving my roots a good massage to wash away my flakes. I also regularly use scalp serums which have helped, but once wash day rolled around again, the itchiness always came back. My routine wasn’t working and I’ve used more hair masks than I can count. But, once I saw this one was meant to be used from scalp to strand, I immediately added it to my shower shelf.

Then, I put it to the test. I was shocked at the slip it gave my hair especially considering how lightweight it felt. Formulated with ingredients like pataua fruit oil, shitake mushroom extract, and probiotic ferments, the mask balanced my scalp’s microbe while reducing inflammation and repairing strands.

As someone who has grown used to scalp itch, it has been so refreshing to not have to scratch away at my head as wash day gets closer and closer. Needless to say, I’ve been using it weekly ever since. For once in my life, now both my scalp and I can chill out—all thanks to this hair mask.
