    ‎A  Nigerian woman who mistakenly sent  ₦100k to the wrong account has shared details of the refunded amount.

    The lady, identified as Nwanyi Declutter on Facebook, disclosed that the incident left her hurt, given that the recipient of the erroneous transfer hailed from her tribe.

    ‎According to the Facebook user, the money was intended for a couch deposit but was mistakenly sent to a wrong OPay account.

    Meanwhile, she reached out to the number, which was picked up by a woman who abruptly ended the call.

    ‎”At some point she even said she’s blind and alone in her house and all her kids have gone out“,She added.

    ‎However, she reported the transaction to OPay and resorted to checking her transaction history.

    While checking, she came across the number and remembered making an earlier transaction to the account.

    Subsequently, she rushed to the shop where she had made the transfer, picked a ₦7,000 black top, and requested the woman’s account details for payment.

    ‎Sharing details of what transpired at the shop, the Facebook user narrated, “As she started calling her account number, I saw it clearly, same number, same Nkeiruka Modester. That was when I said, “Ah, ma, you’re the one I sent ₦100k to this afternoon. This woman still had the audacity to deny it and finally admitted she saw the money after about 5 minutes of pretense”.

    Eventually, the woman refunded ₦92,500 while deducting ₦7,000 for the top along with an additional ₦500.
