    The Baltimore Ravens and quarterback Lamar Jackson are working toward a contract extension, with general manager Eric DeCosta expressing confidence a deal can be reached before the NFL’s new league year opens March 11. Jackson, who represents himself, has two years remaining on the five-year, $260 million contract he signed in 2023. He is scheduled to count $74.5 million against the salary cap in 2026 — the league’s second-highest figure — on a base salary of $51.25 million, of which $29 million is fully guaranteed, plus a $750,000 workout bonus.
