Marking its 50th anniversary, the brand honored the milestone by doubling down on its presence in golf. Oakley has long been part of the game as the go-to eyewear for players like David Duval, Adam Scott and Annika Sorenstam—and more recently, the next generation led by Min Woo Lee. That relationship was formalized in early 2025, when the young Australian joined the roster just in time for the WM Phoenix Open. Now, the brand has tapped another key ambassador: NBA Sixth Man of the Year-turned-tastemaker JR Smith.Smith fronts this year’s Oakley Golf Fusion Collection, a curated capsule that introduces new footwear, outerwear and accessories to the lineup. The Edge Elite Golf Shoe takes center stage—an evolution of Oakley’s earlier Edge series, now updated with a bungee pull-cord system and zipper overlay. The closure system and inner membrane help keep the shoe dry in damp conditions. Then there’s the Fusion Jacket, another piece built for all-weather performance. A DWR finish and windproof construction make it one of Oakley Golf’s most technically advanced garments to date. Rounding out the collection is a sleek shoe bag with laser-cut details that nod to Oakley’s signature industrial design language. The full collection will be available online and in stores come February.Click here to view full gallery at Hypebeast
