Wingstop brought home-style taste to food delivery Friday, as the company’s Flavor Rodeo rollout kicked off in Fort Worth with its Delivery Cowboy Experience.

Riding through the Fort Worth Stockyards Friday, two cowboys on horseback delivered orders for the Dallas-based chain outside Cowtown Coliseum as part of a two-hour activation Aug. 7. Instead of having delivery drivers pull up with customers’ orders, select Club Wingstop members were able to let their fingers do the walking as they watched their wings ride into town (The Stockyards’ famous afternoon cattle drive did not take place that day because of the hot weather).

Those members were also among the first to taste the returning Carolina Gold and Jamaican Jerk wings, along with new Hot Honey Mustard Dip and Sprite Strawberry Rodeo.

“While everyone else serves the expected barbecue, Wingstop is giving fans a lineup so strong it deserves an equally bold entrance,” Wingstop President and CEO Michael Skipworth said in a statement. “The Flavor Rodeo brings back two fan favorites, adds two new ways to elevate every order and gives Club Wingstop members an experience they won’t find anywhere else.”

Carolina Gold and Jamaican Jerk are both returning flavors, but Carolina Gold has proven to be particularly popular during its past limited-time appearances at Wingstop, the company said. The sweet and tangy Southern barbecue-inspired flavor from the Carolinas is back for fans, who can pair it with Jamaican Jerk, which features a blend of Caribbean-inspired spices and savory herbs.

Rounding out the lineup are Hot Honey Mustard Dip, which features sweet honey mustard with a spicy kick, and Sprite Strawberry Rodeo, which mixes lemon-lime and strawberry flavors. Customers can order the Sprite Strawberry Rodeo at participating locations with Coca-Cola Freestyle soda dispensers.

The event was part of Wingstop’s “Members Eat First” strategy, which grants Club Wingstop members early access to new menu items, member-exclusive benefits and unique experiences.

The full Flavor Rodeo lineup became available nationwide Aug. 11 following its Aug. 7 debut for Club Wingstop members.

Last month, Wingstop transformed food culture during its FIFA World Cup activation by turning The Bomb Factory in Dallas’ Deep Ellum neighborhood into its House of Flavor fan experience, which fused together 10 days of soccer, music, fashion and food. This month, the company rode west from Dallas to bring its Flavor Rodeo to the Fort Worth Stockyards.

Though the cowboys have finished their ride through Fort Worth, customers nationwide can receive $0 delivery Aug. 14-16 by using code GIDDYUP on qualifying purchases at participating U.S. locations.
