Trap Lore Ross has become a storyline amid Lil Durk’s murder-for-hire trial. Unfortunately, it is for all of the wrong reasons.

The YouTuber is already a controversial individual. Some hip-hop fans don’t appreciate the way he covers gang culture. His documentaries on King Von and NBA YoungBoy have proven to be controversial for the way they tackle sensitive subjects. With Trap Lore Ross covering the Lil Durk trial live in the courtroom, there has been increased scrutiny on his work.

That was especially true on Monday, when the YouTube commentator took to X and said “Durk is blaming everything on Vonni.” This subsequently led to all kinds of snitching narratives throughout social media. Trap Lore Ross was heavily criticized for the tweet, with some saying he doesn’t belong in the courtroom.

On Tuesday, Ross’ tweet had real-life consequences as he was pressed outside of the courthouse. Men were demanding that he recant his comments about Durk. Trap Lore Ross walked away from the individual, which had some feeling as though he couldn’t take the heat.

Eventually, Trap Lore Ross was spotted in another video alongside Rico Recklezz. In this clip, he makes it clear that he never called Durk a snitch. Instead, he was just repeating the legal strategy. However, he does acknowledge the fact that 6ix9ine made this something that it isn’t.

Lil Durk’s trial is one of the biggest stories in hip-hop right now, and fans are relying on those in the courtroom to give accurate information. When the reporters are becoming the story and not the individual on trial, that is a real problem.
