The Air Jordan 12 “Soft Blue” is expected to release April 10, 2027 for $215 in full family sizing. Mockups from leaker @zSneakerHeadz are giving fans their first look ahead of any official confirmation.

Black nubuck covers most of the upper, keeping the base dark and understated. Soft Blue takes over the mudguard, adding a fake iguana skin texture that wraps around the front half of the shoe. That same blue tone continues onto the outsole, tying the whole build together from top to bottom.

Orange steps in as the accent color, hitting the tongue, midfoot, and Jumpman branding. Against all that black and blue, it gives the shoe a sharp pop of contrast without pulling focus from the main color story.

The style code is listed as CT8013-011 for anyone tracking the release. It’s expected through SNKRS, Foot Locker, Finish Line, Hibbett, and Shiekh once the date arrives, but note that Jordan Brand hasn’t made anything official yet.

This drop lands during the Air Jordan 12’s 30th anniversary stretch, adding one more colorway to an already packed celebration. Jordan Brand has kept the momentum going well into 2027, rather than limiting festivities to just last year.

The black, blue, and orange combination naturally calls back to Michael Jordan’s final playing days with the Washington Wizards. That connection gives “Soft Blue” a bit of extra meaning beyond just being a fresh colorway.

This colorway also reminds us a lot of the “Gamma Blue,” which dropped back in 2022. Both pairs lean on a similar black and blue base, though the added orange hits here give this version its own identity.

The Air Jordan 12 has always worked well with darker uppers paired against bright accents. Between the stitched leather panels, mudguard shape, and metallic hardware, the silhouette gives designers plenty of room to play with contrast.

With official images still pending, exact material choices and color placement could shift before the April release. For now, “Soft Blue” gives collectors another reason to circle next spring’s Jordan calendar.
