Reality star Phyna has called out Moniepoint CEO Tosin Eniolorunda over comments allegedly made about employing Nigerians.

In a viral video circulating online, the former BBNaija winner expressed her displeasure, describing the statement as disrespectful, especially considering the current economic situation in the country.

“Moniepoint CEO saying he has 500 vacant posts in his company but cannot employ Nigerians because Nigerians are not smart is very disrespectful.

How much is the salary? Let’s assume it’s ₦500,000 monthly. Some people can go on TikTok from morning till night and make more than ₦500,000 daily,” she said.

She went on to question the value of such jobs compared to the rising cost of living and alternative income streams available online.

The reality star also noted that many Nigerians still have qualifications but feel discouraged by the current state of the country.

“How much is rent? If Nigeria gets better, a lot of people would leave social media and dust their certificates. I have my certificate here. I studied engineering. If Nigeria gets better, I will dust it and move into the corporate world,” she added.

Her comments have since sparked mixed reactions online.

One user wrote, “She actually made a point. I agree with Phyna on this 👏 while another added, “Cost of living is too high.”

The discussion has further fueled conversations around employment, income opportunities, and the realities many young Nigerians face in today’s economy.
