The adventure thriller heavily explores the unbreakable bond between the man and his canine companion as they face their greatest battle yet.The project is written by Cameron Alexander, with Olivia Hamilton, Marty Bowen, Ayer, and Pitt serving as producers. The extensive executive production team includes Damien Chazelle, Scott Lumpkin, Chris Long, Pete Chiappetta, Anthony Tittanegro, Andrew Lary, Sophie Cassidy, and Zack Conroy. This film marks the first time Pitt and Ayer have reunited since their 2014 World War II drama Fury, and follows Pitt's recent starring role in the Oscar-nominated Apple feature F1.
