Social commentator Geh Geh has reacted strongly to the ongoing marriage crisis involving Roby Ekpo and his enstranged wife, Mayowa, offering blunt advice to men in relationships.

The saga, which has been trending online, saw Roby Ekpo open up about how his marriage allegedly ended after 11 years, sparking mixed reactions across social media.

Reacting to the situation, Geh Geh did not hold back as he criticized men who become overly emotional in relationships.

“Bro, you’re crying because of a woman? You’re crying? This video is a perfect example that we need more men in Geh Geh University of Wisdom and Understanding.

The only control you have over a woman is to walk away when things no longer serve you. That’s the only power you have, because you can’t control her decisions or actions,” he said.

According to him, many men make the mistake of believing that marriage alone can guarantee loyalty, even when there are clear warning signs.

He stressed that self-neglect and emotional dependence often leave men vulnerable, especially when effort in the relationship is not reciprocated.

“Marriage can never keep a woman. We’ve seen women who have been married for over 35 years and still walk away. This man kept saying ‘Na my wife’ while sending flowers abroad, converting low currency to hard currency, and neglecting himself. Know when to walk away,” he added.

His remarks have since triggered reactions online, with many Nigerians sharing their thoughts.

One user wrote, “This one loud but na truth 😳.” Another commented, “Some men go learn the hard way. Love don humble many people.”

The situation continues to stir conversations, as many reflect on love, marriage, and the importance of knowing when to walk away.
