A woman has shared a deeply personal account of her marriage, highlighting challenges she faced after childbirth and how it affected her relationship.

    Postpartum struggles and marital tension

In a post circulating on social media, the woman explained that her husband married her as a virgin and initially, their intimate life was satisfying.

However, things reportedly changed after she gave birth to their first child, as she began experiencing a loss of interest in sex and serious health complications.

My husband married me as a virgin. It was after our wedding I found out how much he loves sex. At first, it was enjoyable. But after I gave birth, I lost interest completely. A month after childbirth, I got pregnant again and had to abort it. I later took IUCD, but I bled every day for three months until my mum forced me to remove it,” she said.

    Infidelity allegations and family pressure

The situation escalated when she allegedly discovered her husband was having an affair and financially supporting another woman.

When she reported the issue to her mother-in-law, she claimed she was blamed for the infidelity.

He was still having sex with me despite everything. I decided to stop until I was fine, then I found out he was seeing another woman and giving her weekly allowance. When I told my mother-in-law, she said it was my fault and that it’s a wife’s duty regardless of how her body feels. I moved out with my baby, but my mum is begging me to return so my life won’t end up like hers,” she added.

Similar stories of postpartum challenges and marital strain have surfaced in recent years, drawing attention to conversations around women’s health, consent, and expectations in marriage.
