    After entering a not guilty plea on Wednesday to accusations that he changed his play in specific games in 2024 to benefit sports bettors and reduce his own debts, Malik Beasley‘s attorney stated that the accused former NBA player “wants to move on with his life.” Beasley, the latest prominent name caught up in a sweeping federal gambling investigation, said little at his appearance in Brooklyn federal court. He answered a judge’s queries with “yes, your honor” but let his lawyer, Jason Goldman, enter his plea on his behalf. Goldman said: “He looks forward to fighting. He’s fought every day”.
