27 year old Fulham winger Samuel Chukwueze has turned down the opportunity to join Trabzonspor, a Turkish Süper Lig club.

Chukwueze spent last season on loan at Premier League team Fulham. In 25 appearances in all competitions with the Whites, the winger scored three goals and assisted four times.

Fulham chose not to exercise the contract option, so the Nigeria international returned to his parent club, AC Milan.

Trabzonspor had hoped to bring Chukwueze to Turkey for roughly €15 million this summer.

According to Nigerian journalist Babatunde Ojora, the 27-year-old has rejected the planned move and prefers to remain at AC Milan as he awaits a decision on his role under new boss Ruben Amorim.
