AURALEE and New Balance have officially unveiled their latest collaborative footwear silhouette, the AURALEE x New Balance 574 Driver. Reimagined for the style-driven fashion consumer, the new model deepens the brand's franchise catalog by shifting an archival running icon into a modern, formal space. The silhouette made its debut on the brand's runway during Paris Fashion Week's Spring/Summer 2027 season.Hypebeast received an exclusive first look at the 574 Driver, which introduces a low-profile, dress-inspired build designed for versatile styling. Drawing core linework directly from the DNA of the traditional 574 runner, the collaborative model adapts these heritage details into a sleek, premium hybrid silhouette. The construction features a mixed-material upper that prioritizes texture and durability, incorporating soft nylon across the vamp, saddle, and tongue to establish a distinct, pliable feel that deviates from inline mesh variants.Premium nubuck overlays add structural depth across both colorways, while a smooth leather back tab elevates the heel. For lasting wear, the collar lining is engineered with a durable synthetic material. The silhouette will debut in two distinct color options: a triple-black version accented by a contrasting light beige collar lining, insert, and lace options, and a multi-toned blue iteration tailored to align with AURALEE's upcoming seasonal apparel collection.Take an in-hand look at the shoe above.
