(Airdate 6/2/26) Attorney Jaaye Person-Lynn, Esq. said on air this morning that Juneteenth represents Black liberation and freedom. He argued that the Second Amendment protects carrying a firearm, and that people shouldn’t have to ask a store for permission to bring in a legally owned gun. He added that responsible firearm possession relates to public safety, especially given America’s yearly mass school shootings. He also stated that marijuana should be treated as a lesser offense, not a federal charge, as the country awaits new Supreme Court rulings on gun laws. He emphasized that a firearm and marijuana should not be used together as a pretext to target Black people.
