    Chizoma Okoli was born in Benin State, in 1992. Chizoma Okoli earned a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Benin and a Master of Business Administration from Warwick Business School in the United Kingdom.

    She is an Honorary Senior Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria and has completed several notable management programmes, including those at Wharton Executive Education and the Lagos Business School.

    Mrs. Okoli was appointed Deputy Managing Director, Retail South in May 2022. She is a seasoned professional with nearly three (3) decades of extensive banking expertise.

    She began her professional career in 1992 as an Executive Trainee at the now-defunct Diamond Bank Plc, where she distinguished herself and quickly ascended through the ranks to become Executive Director in 2016.

    Following the Bank’s merger with the defunct Diamond Bank in 2019, she was appointed Executive Director of the Business Banking Division. Her extensive experience includes commercial and consumer banking; corporate banking; branch banking; institutional banking; business banking; and business growth.
