Cam’ron and Vic Mensa appear to have some issues that all began when Cam’ron explained on the Come And Talk 2 Me show how he didn’t identify as African because his mother is from Atlantic City. In the midst of this, he said that one of his friends told him Africans stink, and that’s when Vic, who Cam repeatedly referred to as the guy on The Chi, got in his ass.

Cam particularly took issue with the fact that Vic Mensa’s video suggests it was the Dipset rapper’s thoughts himself when he explained that he was repeating what someone else told him.

“We was talking about Africa. There’s a lot of Africans that are mad. Listen, I ain’t mean to get y’all mad. You’re not going to get me to say I’m African. I’m not African, but I didn’t say y’all stick,” he said before redirecting his energy toward Vic. “Why is you clickbaiting talking about I said that people in Africa stink ‘cause I didn’t say that, I was repeating what somebody said. You clickbaiting and you’re clout chasing. I’m disappointed in you.”

He continued, “What do I expect from a n***a with a Roc-A-Fella tattoo on his neck?… I was just trolling about the Roc-A-Fella tattoo. I don’t know why he has one. JAŸ-Z don’t got one.”

In the new video in question, Vic theoretically broke down Cam’s lineage and last name–none of which Cam really cared to hear about.

    Cam’ron Addresses Vic Mensa

“He tried to go through my last name, and this and that and this. Look, if you want to believe that, what you trying to kick knowledge, n***a? F*ck outta here,” Cam said. When his co-host mentioned that Vic brought up how Giles was possibly the last name of a slave owner, Cam then explained that his core issue relates to how historical information may have been misinterpreted while focusing on how Vic misquoted him in the first place, which he suggested disqualifies everything else he said.

“This is what I’m trying to tell you, right, he’s telling you the history of some sh*t from 1000 years, 2000 years, how ever long ago. He can’t even get the story from the podcast right,” he said. “How we supposed to believe that you know what’s going on 2000 years ago if you don’t know what’s going on last week?” Check the full clip above.
