Bingo for Homeless Animals Set for August 28 Humane Society of Harford County Hosting an Evening of Family-Friendly Fun & Games

Fallston, MD – The Humane Society of Harford County (HSHC), with presenting sponsor Joan Ryder & Associates Real Estate, invites the community to enjoy an evening of bingo, prizes, and fun while helping homeless animals during its Cash Bingo Bonanza on Friday, August 28, 2026, at Level Volunteer Fire Hall, 3633 Level Village Road in Havre de Grace. Proceeds from the event will benefit the nearly 3,000 animals that arrive at the shelter each year.

Doors open at 6 p.m., with bingo beginning at 7 p.m. Tickets are $20 in advance and include a packet for 14 bingo games plus opportunities to win door prizes throughout the evening. Advance tickets can be purchased at harfordshelter.org/bingo, by visiting the shelter at 2208 Connolly Road in Fallston, or by calling Erin Long at 410-836-1090, ext. 106.

Players can also participate in several special games featuring larger cash payouts, including a final Winner Takes All Jackpot. In addition, attendees can try their luck in a raffle featuring more than a dozen themed gift baskets.

Guests are encouraged to bring donations from HSHC's wish list, such as dog or cat food, treats, toys, or other pet supplies. Each donated item earns one free raffle ticket, giving attendees even more chances to win while directly helping shelter animals.

Volunteers in the kitchen will offer light dinner fare, snacks, baked goods, and beverages for purchase throughout the evening.

Businesses and community members can also support the fundraiser through sponsorships or by donating items for the themed gift basket raffle. Sponsorship opportunities are available at multiple levels, many of which include event tickets. Sponsors and donors will be recognized in the event program. Monetary donations are also welcome. All contributions are tax-deductible, and net proceeds will support HSHC's lifesaving programs, including veterinary care, foster care, rescue transports, spay/neuter surgeries, and other essential services.

Advance ticket purchases are encouraged, as last year's Cash Bingo sold out before the event. A limited number of tickets may be available at the door for $25, if space permits.
