    Gloria Marin, a candidate for judge of the Los Angeles Superior Court, seat 176, and Deputy District Attorney, was born in Nicaragua and immigrated to Los Angeles with her family in 1990 after fleeing the county's civil war. Currently serving as a prosecutor with Los Angeles District attorney's office, she holds the position of Deputy-in-charge of the Asset Forfeiture unit.
