A new in-hand look has surfaced of the Virgil Abloh Archives x Nike Air Force 1 Low “Pine Green,” and it’s about as rare as sneakers get. Only 150 pairs were ever made, keeping this one firmly out of reach for most collectors.

The shoe first debuted at “Virgil Abloh: The Codes,” an exhibition in Paris honoring the late designer’s creative legacy. Deep pine green leather covers the upper, paired with a metallic silver Swoosh that gives the shoe an unfinished, DIY-style look.

An orange tab sits below the laces, while “AIR” appears in quotation marks along the midsole, both signature touches from Abloh’s design language.

This release also marks a shift in branding. Instead of the usual Off-White text seen across Abloh’s past Nike collaborations, this pair carries “V.A.A. Codes” lettering on the zip tie, tied directly to the Virgil Abloh Archive name.

With production capped at just 150 pairs, this was never meant for public release. It stayed reserved for friends and family connected to the exhibition, making any in-hand footage a rare treat for fans who’ll likely never own one themselves.

This pair represents more than just another green Air Force 1. It signals a deliberate shift away from the Off-White name toward a more archival approach under the Virgil Abloh Archive banner.

That distinction matters given how much history sits behind Abloh’s work with Nike. His Off- White collaborations reshaped modern sneaker culture, and this release shows his creative estate is charting its own path forward, separate from that original label.

Interest in the pair has been high since it first surfaced last year. StockX even ran a giveaway offering fans a rare shot at owning one, given how unlikely a retail release seems.

Whether “Pine Green” or any other Virgil Abloh Archive design eventually gets a wider release remains unclear. For now, this in-hand look is as close as most collectors will ever get.
