The Fruit of Islam (F.O.I.), in honoring their commitment and dedication to share the Teachings of the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad under the leadership and example of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, are in the streets of neighborhoods in cities large and small with The Final Call newspaper every week.

The role of the F.O.I. is to be little “saviours” in our communities as exemplified and taught by Minister Farrakhan. The Final Call newspaper is an important tool in this effort.

In a message delivered in 2010 during the Islamic Holy Month of Ramadan, Minister Farrakhan said, “I am grateful to each and every member of the F.O.I. for their work in helping me to spread the Message of the Teaching of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad that is designed by Allah to lift the most downtrodden of the members of the Human Family:

The Black man and woman of America first, because we have been put in the worst condition of any people that ever lived, so much so, that the prophet of God described us as “dead.”

And as difficult as it would be for us to visit the cemetery and blast a trumpet, and cause the dead in those graves to rise up out of those graves, is the difficulty of The Mission that Allah placed on the shoulders of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad.”

We thank the Fruit of Islam for their dedication and commitment.
