SummaryStudio Nicholson and Échapper unveiled a capsule collectionKey items include oversized silk shirts, loose drawstring pants, a linen gown and goat leather house shoes, all designed for comfort and refined homewearLaunching March 19, 2026Studio Nicholson and Japanese lifestyle brand Échapper have joined forces to launch a collaborative collection. This partnership merges Nick Wakeman’s architectural approach to clothing with Échapper's mastery of traditional Japanese textiles. The resulting collection is crafter with versatility in mind, with individual pieces functioning as sophisticated loungewear for the home or elevated casual wear for the outdoors.Key pieces include the Karst silk shirt and Hera pant, both dyed in darkest navy using advanced botanical techniques that preserve the silk’s relaxed yarns and reduce creasing. The shirt features an oversized profile with dropped shoulders and side gussets for easy layering, while the pant offers a loose silhouette with a button fly and drawstring waist. A linen gown, inspired by a robe sourced in Tokyo, adds understated elegance with its French flax yarn structure, dry hand feel, and natural temperature regulation. Completing the capsule are black goat leather house shoes, lined with cowhide for lasting comfort and tapering slightly at the forefoot to balance luxury with functionality.Standout pieces include oversized pyjama-style shirts, wide-leg drawstring pants and heavyweight linen robes. Each garment utilizes Studio Nicholson’s signature voluminous fits, providing a sense of structural comfort and ease of movement. A key design highlight is the use of Échapper's specialty washed linen and high-density organic cotton, which offer a tactile, lived-in feel while maintaining a crisp, clean silhouette.Design details are kept intentionally minimalist, focusing on clean seams, functional deep pockets, and a muted color palette of optic white, slate and tan.In addition to the apparel, the collaboration includes a range of lifestyle accessories such as oversized linen towels and textured blankets. The collaboration will be available from March 19, 2026, exclusively at Studio Nicholson’s new Kyoto store, London Marylebone location, as well as Aton Aoyama in Tokyo. It will also be available via official webstores of Studio Nicholson and Échapper.Click here to view full gallery at Hypebeast
