Additionally, the blockbuster delivered the highest-grossing Monday in history with $47 million USD, breaking the previous record of $40 million USD set by 2018's Black Panther. International ticket sales currently stand at $645.8 million USD.Reacting to the film's trajectory, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige highlighted the momentum leading into future Marvel Cinematic Universe projects, including Avengers: Doomsday. The release marks the fourth film of 2026 to join the billion-dollar club, alongside The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, Michael, and Toy Story 5.
