Scheduled to launch later this year with a starting price of $89,900 USD, the AFEELA 1 is currently the centerpiece of new creative collaborations aimed at generating excitement around the brand's interactive capabilities. The first vehicle, created with renowned Japanese illustrator Hajime Sorayama, was presented at a museum in Tokyo celebrating his work. The "AFEELA prototype tuned up by Hajime Sorayama" is described as embodying the concepts of light, transparency, and reflection. The model features a chrome wrap, deep tinted windows, gray tires, blue lights, and a distinct moiré effect on the wheels. Additionally, SHM launched its first apparel item, a limited-edition silkscreen t-shirt, to commemorate the Tokyo event.A second AFEELA art car was developed with artist and director Matt Copson and displayed at Frieze Los Angeles. This vehicle is wrapped in a reflective material similar to that used on emergency signage, giving it the appearance of being covered in glow-in-the-dark silly string. Accompanied by limited-edition tote bags, the Matt Copson collaboration will make its next appearance at Frieze New York in May.Click here to view full gallery at Hypebeast
