Snoop Dogg lends his likeness and voice to a new Elusive Target in HITMAN World of Assassination, playing eccentric entrepreneur Dr. Cyrus CaneThe mission drops him and his son Cordell C. Broadus into an all-new Haven Island storyline built around a doomed cookie launchThe crossover lands alongside a fresh Season of the Herbalist roadmap and a themed content pack packed with new challenges and gear

Snoop Dogg is stepping into HITMAN World of Assassination as its newest Elusive Target, and IO Interactive is handing him one of the more theatrical roles the format has seen. Playable from August 27 through September 26, the mission casts the rapper as Dr. Cyrus Cane, an eccentric mogul whose latest venture masks a body count. It marks Snoop's first appearance in Agent 47's world, with both his likeness and voiceover work built into the character. The scenario, titled The Herbalist, unfolds on Haven Island, so players need access to that location to take the contract. Cane is the face of Morsizzles, a cookie product barreling toward a global launch on a wave of social-media buzz and investor hype. Beneath the marketing sits the rot that makes him a mark: an investigation has turned up cover-ups tied to several deaths during internal product testing. To close the contract, 47 has to permanently remove Cane as the brand's frontman and make the product disappear. The setup hands players a familiar Hitman sandbox, a lavish pre-launch party stocked with food-industry insiders, investors, and influencers, all of it cover for the approach. What sets this one apart is the double casting. Snoop's son, Cordell C. Broadus, also contributes his own likeness and voiceover, appearing in-game as a party guest and giving players the chance to track down both father and son on the island. Snoop framed the collaboration as a genuine draw. "It's definitely an honor to step into a franchise as legendary as HITMAN, with millions of fans... bringing my son Cordell along for the ride? That's awesome," he said in a statement.Celebrity Elusive Targets are part of the franchise's DNA, which is what makes this drop land the way it does. The series has a long history of casting real faces as one-off contracts, most famously Sean Bean, who headlined the very first Elusive Target back in 2016. Snoop slots into that lineage while bringing a different kind of cultural wattage, the kind of crossover that reads less like stunt casting and more like the game meeting the wider pop-culture moment where it already lives. The mission is the centerpiece of a broader content wave. A new roadmap, Season of the Herbalist, rolls out two fresh challenges, new Featured Contracts batches, a mix of new and returning Twitch Drops, and the return of Elusive Targets including The Undying Returns. The challenge "Bloom Where You Are Planted" sends players back to Ambrose Island in pursuit of a coveted silenced pistol, while "Fortune Favors the Bald" heads to the GAMA Private Hospital in Hokkaido. The Twitch Drops add flavor of their own, including the Purple Streak Proximity Explosive and a batch of Green Grapes that turn any careless footstep into a slip-and-fall.For players who want more, the paid Herbalist Pack arrives August 27 across all platforms and leans fully into the theme. It bundles permanent access to The Visionary, a two-level Arcade contract featuring the Elusive Target, plus The Herbalist Assignment, alongside cosmetics built around Cane's world: the Entrepreneur Fur Coat, the Hustler Tracksuit, "The Smoke," a Ryte LX2 Custom Mic, a Morsizzles Cookie, the Big Biz Briefcase, and a set of four Freelancer safehouse items.Watch the trailer above. The Snoop Dogg Elusive Target is playable free in HITMAN World of Assassination and via the Free Demo from August 27 until September 26, across PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PlayStation VR2, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, ROG Xbox Ally X, ROG Xbox Ally, PC, PC VR, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, iPhone, iPad, and Apple silicon Mac. The Herbalist Pack lands the same day on all platforms, reaching Nintendo Switch 2 on September 4.
