    Ryan Watson’s film is set at a fictional HBCU in Tampa, FL wrapped principal photography March 20th. The story follows Tavon Watkins (Truitt), who after a severe hazing incident threatens his academic standing, must pledge a secret fraternity of black martial artists that forces him to confront his ego, legacy, and the true meaning of brotherhood. The script was co-written by Watson and Jerron Horton (Forever).

    This marks the first time Michael Jai White, Taimak, and Walter E. Jones, three pioneering black action heroes, share the screen.

    The ensemble cast includes Quartay DeNaya, TNA superstars Daria Rae Berenato & Mara Sadè, viral martial arts sensation Jair Muhammad, Sam Lee Herring (Back in Action) and a host of exciting fresh faces to the black action scene which features 13 black belt level martial artists.

    “Juneteenth is the perfect time to release the first look at this transcendent African American martial arts story,” said Watson.

    Shaun Greenspan (Amber Alert), Brian Yuran, and Daria Rae Berenato are producing. Casting was by Karlie Loland-Ringer CSA. Taimak, Michael Jai White and Walter E. Jones will also serve as executive producers alongside Miranda Motlow and Jonathan Blitt.
