Pakistan completed a comfortable win over the West Indies, ending a run of eight consecutive away Test defeats. Left-arm spinner Ali Usman took two of the final three wickets as the West Indies were bowled out for 117 in 46.1 overs at Queen’s Park Oval in Trinidad, after resuming the day on 103 for six. Usman struck within two overs, bowling Kemar Roach for a duck without a run added to the previous day's total. Justin Greaves then edged Mohammad Ali onto his stumps for three, leaving the West Indies on 115 for eight. Shamar Joseph provided some brief entertainment, hitting Usman for two boundaries as the small crowd cheered. But Joseph’s brief counterattack ended not too long after when he was caught by wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan as he attempted another shot against Usman. His dismissal ended the West Indies’ innings, with Brandon King unable to bat due to an injury sustained while fielding. Sajid Khan finished with 4-32, while Usman claimed 4-39. In reply, chasing just 75 runs for victory and to level the two-match series 1-1, Pakistan were largely untroubled despite losing two wickets. Jayden Seales dismissed Imam-ul-Haq for 15, while Joseph bowled Azan Awais for 18, leaving Pakistan at 42 for two. Abdullah Shafique, named Player of the Match, and captain Babar Azam resisted the West Indies’ bowlers to guide Pakistan to victory with an unbroken 35-run partnership. Azam survived a close LBW appeal before sealing the victory with successive sixes off Jomel Warrican. He finished unbeaten on 24, while Shafique made 24 not out. Greaves was named Player of the Series for the second consecutive Test series, sharing the award with Babar Azam.
