    The comment, which sparked debate across social media platforms on Wednesday, May 2026, drew strong criticism from the entertainer, who questioned both wage structures and living realities in Nigeria’s economy.

    She said: “How much is the salary? Let’s assume it is ₦500,000 monthly, some people are on TikTok from morning till night and earn more than that daily. How much is rent, how much is cost of living in Nigeria? You cannot just say Nigerians are not smart because jobs are not being filled.”

    She added: “If Nigeria gets better, a lot of people will leave fooling and dust their certificates. I have my certificate here, I studied engineering. If Nigeria gets better, I will dust it and move into the corporate world.”
