Hermès redefines the enchanting realm of its house chypre with Barénia Pleine Fleur, an Eau de Parfum inspired by the absolute quality of the maison’s heritage leather.Guided by Pierre-Alexis Dumas’ dictum that there is "no creation without memory," Hermès perfumer Christine Nagel revisited hundreds of preliminary trials to compose a fragrance for the radiant, magnetically seductive Hermès woman. At the soul of this new creation lies the white lily, an emblem chosen to embody the modern, adventurous spirit. The flower lends a unique, velvet-like roundness to the composition, evoking the tactile softness of a petal and the delicate sensation of skin brushing against skin. The scent opens with a fresh, tempering top note before leading into a conversation between the elegant white lily and its discreet companion, the orange blossom. The orange blossom softens the headier facets of the bouquet with a nod to the centuries-old symbol of innocence that graces the bitter orange tree each spring.Beneath this floral expanse, the fragrance anchors itself in the core signature of the Hermès chypre: the gourmet aroma of roasted oak wood - evoking rich rum notes - paired with sensual Gayo patchouli. Adding a touch of fairytale magic, Nagel weaves in the botanical essence of the miracle berry, capturing a warm, dried-apricot facet inspired by a West African legend that transforms sour into sweet. The bottle completes the narrative: lacquered in an orange‑pink hue, it bears a silver‑toned plate embossed with Clou Médor studs, echoing Hermès’ leather heritage. Packaged in a box marked with a white “H,” the design reflects both elegance and strength. Barénia Pleine Fleur Eau de Parfum will be available worldwide from August 2026 in Hermès boutiques.
