Tennessee State guard Aaron Nkrumah was not selected in the second round of the 2026 NBA Draft.

But the HBCU star does have a home.

Nkrumah is reportedly expected to sign an Exhibit-10 contract with the Denver Nuggets, according to ClutchPoints NBA reporter Brett Siegel.

Nkrumah, Siegel reports, will compete for a two-way roster spot.

An Exhibit-10 contract is a one-year, non-guaranteed NBA minimum-salary contract that secures a player for training camp, Summer League, and the preseason.

It allows franchises to evaluate players while retaining their G League rights and provides a financial bonus if the player is waived but then joins the team’s G League team.

Nkrumah had a magical senior season. He was named the 2025-26 OVC Player of the Year after averaging 17.7 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 2.8 steals per game while shooting 35.1% from 3-point range.

His efforts under first-year coach Nolan Smith helped Tennessee State reach the NCAA Tournament for the first time in 32 years.
