    Beverly Afaglo, a late Ghanaian actress and entrepreneur, died after battling illness for two years, according to her manager, Abu Iddris.

    In an interview on Sunday, May 24, Iddris disclosed that the actress passed away on Saturday night at the International Maritime Hospital in Tema.

    “She has been battling cancer for two years. It’s been an endless war. “She fought hard, and this is how it ended,” he said.

    According to him, the cancer began as breast cancer and expanded due to its hereditary origin.

    Beverly’s husband, musician Eugene Baah, also known as Choirmaster or Praye Ho Ne Ho of the Praye music group, announced her death on social media on Sunday, May 24, 2026. She was 42 years old.

    Iddris revealed that despite her poor health, Beverly stayed dedicated to her career and family while getting therapy.

    “In fact, we photographed stuff for her while she was in therapy. She was under therapy while the premieres and advertising took place. He remarked that she lived her life to the fullest until cancer took control.

    He also disclosed that Beverly had traveled to the United States for treatment and was urged to stay there due to the superior medical care available, but she preferred to return to Ghana to spend time with her children.

    “Aware of the situation, she chose to come with her children. This is the type of individual she is. She opted to visit her children and spend her final days with them at a cost,” he continued.

    The family has yet to announce funeral plans as they continue to grieve her death.
