Tokyo Lights, Horizon Nights officially set the tone for Forza Horizon 6, with the franchise staging one of its most immersive global creator events to date in Tokyo. Designed as a real-world extension of the Horizon Festival, the gathering brought together over 100 creators, media, and community voices from more than 20 countries, marking a push to position Japan as the cultural core of the upcoming release. Held inside a multi-level parking garage in Shibuya, the setting leaned into the raw, unfiltered energy of Tokyo’s underground car scene. The choice of venue mirrored the tight, concrete-heavy environments that define the city’s after-hours driving culture, reinforcing the game’s on-the-ground authenticity. Inside, attendees moved between hands-on gameplay stations, curated JDM car displays, a first look at the unreleased cover car, and conversation opportunities with developers. All were framed by street food and nightlife-inspired activations.Programming throughout the night included a high-energy DJ set from SHIMA—whose tracks appear in Forza Horizon 6— acted as a live preview of the game’s sonic identity, while creator gifting, limited-edition merchandise, and unembargoed gameplay access gave attendees immediate entry into the conversation. The guest list also reflected the broader cultural crossover the franchise is tapping into. Names like Lia Block, Dino Dalle Carbonare, and Larry Chen were joined by artists including Inko Takita and key figures from Liberty Walk, with Wataru Kato in attendance. Together, it created a convergence of the communities shaping both car and gaming culture.Visit the official Forza site for more info on when Forza Horizon 6 drops.
