A lady has sparked conversations online after sharing her experience of attracting attention in public due to her body shape.

In a video posted on social media, the woman explained that she often receives comments and reactions from strangers whenever she steps outside.

According to her, attempts to dress in a way that conceals her figure have largely been unsuccessful, as she believes her natural body shape remains noticeable regardless of what she wears.

Her comments quickly attracted reactions from social media users, with many sharing differing opinions on body image, fashion and public behaviour.

    Attempts to avoid attention

While narrating her experience, the lady said she was preparing for a trip to a friend’s shop and had tried to dress in a way that would attract less attention.

She explained that despite her efforts, she felt the outcome was the same.

When you have big yansh and you want to go out just know that everybody go dey shout for road. You waka for road, motor go stop. You waka for road, bus driver go shout. Conductor, bike man, private motor go shout, everybody go shout.”

The lady further stated that clothing choices made little difference in her case.

    Reactions online

Continuing her explanation, she said she had experimented with different outfits but believed none were capable of completely hiding her curves.

The video joins a broader trend of social media users discussing personal experiences related to body image and public attention.

Many commenters shared similar experiences, while others debated whether clothing or physical appearance plays a greater role in attracting attention from strangers.

The post has continued to generate discussion online, with users reflecting on public interactions, body confidence and the challenges some people face when navigating unwanted attention in everyday life.
