BOOMMAN defends Gucci Mane in the Pooh Shiesty fallout before Loon turns the same loyalty test on him: Did BOOMMAN financially support Foogiano and look out for his family while Foogiano was incarcerated? The conversation begins with BOOMMAN arguing that artists often use label executives, relationships and industry infrastructure to advance their careers—then become resentful once the business starts generating money. BOOMMAN says Gucci Mane used his relationships with artists such as Future, Lil Baby and Young Dolph to help build the New 1017 roster. From BOOMMAN’s perspective, Pooh Shiesty benefited from Gucci Mane’s credibility, money and access before their relationship collapsed. Loon challenges that argument by bringing up the emotional reality of incarceration, losing family members while locked up and feeling unsupported by the person who controls your music career. Loon then turns the question directly toward BOOMMAN: Did he send Foogiano money while he was in prison? Did he help Foogiano’s family? Should BOOMMAN expect Foogiano to remain loyal when he comes home? BOOMMAN says his relationship with Foogiano should not be reduced to what happened during incarceration. He points to the money he helped Foogiano raise, his presence during court proceedings and everything he did before Foogiano was sentenced. The conversation later shifts to independent artists paying BOOMMAN for meetings, consultations and performance opportunities. BOOMMAN says it takes at least $100,000 to properly break an artist but argues that paying $1,000 for his time, knowledge and access can still provide real value. Loon presses the contradiction: If $1,000 cannot meaningfully change an artist’s career, what exactly are struggling artists paying for? Is BOOMMAN providing valuable opportunity and education—or did the Rolls-Royces, bottles, successful artists and industry relationships create expectations his services could never fulfill? Watch the full exchange and decide who made the stronger argument.
